These are not your standard garden variety ranunculus from a bag of corms – these are the real deal cut flower varieties bred specifically for their strong stems and layers upon layers of delicate petals in all the most gorgeous shades. Once you’ve grown these French & Italian ranunculus you’ll never look back. They really are as stunning as the pictures, and worth every bit of effort you give them, and even better, they’re not going to break your heart and rot out like a corm can – these are healthy established plants ready for the ground.

We’ve imported this seed directly from the breeders, as the corms for these varieties are not able to be imported into NZ – and have worked incredibly hard to learn the best way to grow them from seed ourselves so that they grow into highly productive plants that will thrive in the home garden. 

We have gone heavy on the Italian varieties this year – we found that in our nursery & home garden trials they were the strongest performing with the least grower input, making them ideal for a home garden or small flower farmer not growing in tunnels. But of course there are some colours from the French we just can’t live without!

As you will see by the number of varieties on offer – I am utterly obsessed with ranuncs and wanted to bring you as broad a range as possible, but also offer a mixed option so you can try as many as possible.

Seedling ranuncs will produce a corm by the end of the season for you to save for next year or perennialise.
