Frequently Asked Questions
Our shipping days are Mon/Tues/Weds to allow time for seedlings to arrive safe and sound. Orders receieved on a Monday or Tuesday may wait until the following ship week - we will always advise if there is going to be an alternative ship week!
We wrap our seedlings as bareroot plugs in newspaper to retain moisture, and to offer a sustainable shipping method. We recommend planting immediately or potting up until you're ready to plant. The plants can be left in their newspaper wrap for a couple of days provided you water them, and move the newspaper down away from the foliage. The newspaper, box liner and box are all home compostable - please help us in our endeavour towards sustainability by composting or recycling these and avoid putting them in landfill.
We sow in successions, so we aim to have each variety of plants available several times each season. You can visit our 'Coming Soon' page to see what we've sown and have growing on. If something has sold out but we have more growing on it will show as both Sold Out and Coming Soon. As there are no certainties in growing we do not offer specific release dates ahead of time - we list plants when they are at the optimum point for shipping and planting.
In the rare event that your order does not arrive, and contacting your local courier depot using tracking number supplied does not help - please let us know and we will follow up. In the event a seedling box arrives damaged please contact us immediately and supply photos so that we can follow up with the courier. We will replace, or refund/credit damaged orders where stock levels do not allow replacment.
