Crown of Dynasty is the last remaining Crown variety being grown in NZ - which is a shame given how these beautiful varieties are so long lasting in both the garden and vase, and always have stem length to boot! Flowering mid season, and a must grow.

NOTES ON GROWING

Height: 45cm+

Spacing: Tulips can be planted as close as eggs in a carton for best en mass effect in pots or the garden, at a depth of 10-20cm. 

Harvest: If you are growing tulips as an annual, then you can pull the entire bulb up on harvest to ensure maximum stem length, however if you are wanting to keep your bulbs for next year, then ensure to leave at least two leaves on the bulb when cutting the stem. Tulips are best picked when the flower is just starting to colour up for maximum vase life.  

Vase life: 7-14 days depending on harvest stage
