Neglige is such a unique variety and we loved her in our trial last year! Fringed tulips are few and far between and its a real shame because they are just so stunning to watch unfurl, almost feather like. Great cut flower, long lasting in the garde, and puts on a real show starting white with the faintest blush, aging to a cerise pink fringe. Just gorgeous! Mid - late flowering.

NOTES ON GROWING

Height: 45cm+

Spacing: Tulips can be planted as close as eggs in a carton for best en mass effect in pots or the garden, at a depth of 10-20cm. 

Harvest: If you are growing tulips as an annual, then you can pull the entire bulb up on harvest to ensure maximum stem length, however if you are wanting to keep your bulbs for next year, then ensure to leave at least two leaves on the bulb when cutting the stem. Tulips are best picked when the flower is just starting to colour up for maximum vase life.  

Vase life: 7-14 days depending on harvest stage
